Our Hygienists and Assistants are continually updating their education by participating in dental lectures, meetings, and conventions so that they remain in full awareness of any new techniques, products, and equipment that become available so that they can provide the highest level of care for our patients. Along with Dr. Pipkin, they develop individual treatment plans for each patient that joins our practice. You are first seen by our hygiene team who on your initial visit will sit down with you and have a conversation to identify not only what your needs are regarding you oral health, but also what your own goals are concerning your treatment. A thorough oral exam including x-rays is then preformed along with a prophylactic cleaning and the results are then reviewed by Dr. Pipkin who then performs a more comprehensive examination. The data obtained will allow her to address both normal and abnormal findings and review with you the options that are available to correct any problems. The treatment goals are the established with our Treatment Coordinator. Once the treatment plan is established you then will meet with our financial staff that will assist you with the cost involved in order to meet these goals. The treatment plan is then initiated and appointments are arranged with Dr. Pipkin and our expert staff of Dental Assistants to meet your schedule. If additional treatment is needed that is not available in our office then we can refer you to another office that is better equipped to meet your specific needs. (We do not offer in office sedation for any of our procedures.)
