She has completed advanced cosmetic training with Dr. Ross Nash’s Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, Laser Advanced Training with Hoya ConBio, Invisalign with Align Technologies, and is currently enrolled at LVI in Las Vegas, NV. Her many affiliations and memberships include South Carolina Dental Association, Rotary International (past president of Moncks Corner chapter), Berkeley County Museum board Member, Advisory Council for Charleston AFB, board Member of Goodwill, Alzheimer’s board, and is also on the Dental Leadership Council at Trident Technical College. She recently was awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists during its Annual Meeting and Convocation in San Francisco, California (a prestigious honor that only approximately 3.5% of dentists receive). She is also the organist at Jamestown Baptist Church. One of the things that make her unique in her practice is the fact that she is available to her patients 24 hrs/day, 7 days/week via her pager. Most of the time in a general dental practice you will not find this and if an emergency happens after hours or on a weekend you will have to wait until the office opens the next day. She also provides care to the area Head Start children and accepts Medicaid patients. These are just a small example of what sets her practice apart from others in the area! She believes in the concept of preventive care and education when it comes to optimal dental health and works hard to provide dental health care rather the disease care. She also takes pride in her ability to restore and enhance the natural beauty of your smile using only the latest and most conservative technologically advanced procedures. The results of her efforts mean that her patients have not only beautiful but long lasting smiles! Our Clinical Staff Jean Jean has been a Dental Assistant for 26 years and has been with our team since 1998. Jean is very talented and utilizes her expanded duties to assist Dr. Pipkin achieve the best results. Her expert ability to match shades makes it almost impossible to detect the new from the original natural tooth. Gwen Gwen has been a Dental Assistant since 1994 and has been with Dr. Pipkin since she began her practice. Her chair side manner helps relax our patients whether they are from our pediatric or our older population. Her ability to assist Dr. Pipkin with very difficult cases is unsurpassed. Her bubbly personality keeps our patients coming back time after time. Linda Linda is our Senior Dental Hygienist. She has been in practice since 1998 and has been with Dr. Pipkin for her entire career. She has a very loyal patient population and always makes them feel at home with her warm smile and personality. Her expertise in good oral hygiene is priceless. She is a leader in early detection of potential problems and is very competent in her approach to the correction of them. Jill Jill is our Treatment Coordinator and is very skilled in both assessing individual needs as well as the implementation of the necessary treatment. She has 18 years of Dental Hygiene experience. Her pediatric population is immediately put at ease with her gentle smile and touch. All of our Clinical Staff is now trained in the use of our new Zoom whitening system.
